Charity continues with her plan to fleece Cain

Cain and Charity are enjoying each other’s company but Charity’s privately wrestling with her conscience over copying Cain’s storage unit key. While Cain’s in the shower, Charity finds the access card for the storage facility where he keeps his money. When Cain shouts down to her, she returns the card and is forced to make a decision between Cain and his money.

In the pub, the guilt becomes unbearable for Charity, prompting her to confide in a concerned Marlon that Cain shouldn’t trust her, before insisting that she hasn’t changed.

Later, Cain and Charity enjoy a spot of lunch and Cain surprisingly finds himself opening up to her. With that, Cain admits that he’s in love with her. Charity’s moved by his declaration but she doesn’t reciprocate. Luckily, Sarah interrupts the moment and drags Cain upstairs. Seizing the distraction, Charity takes the security card from his wallet, determined not to let her feelings get in the way of her mission.

Meanwhile, Hannah’s upset when Moira and John won’t let her go to Aaron’s party. However, when Andy turns up and tells them that Victoria’s going, Moira agrees that she can attend but is forbidden from buying any alcohol.

At the party, Hannah heads straight to the kitchen to grab a drink but Kayleigh and Victoria are nasty to her when she tries to join them. Ignored by Adam, Hannah grabs a bottle of wine and heads out of the party.

When Moira, Andy and Marlon arrive and hear that Hannah’s nowhere to be seen, a furious Moira phones John to hear that she hasn’t returned home, either. Marlon heads out to find her and much to her parents’ relief, Marlon turns up with Hannah in tow, clearly a little worse for wear.

Meanwhile, Lisa’s grateful when Zak’s supportive of her decision to give life modelling a go at Holly’s college. Spotting Holly, Lisa gets the contact number for the life modelling class and with Holly’s encouragement, she feels more confident.

Clarifying she can keep her clothes on, Lisa arranges a session for the next day and Zak insists that anyone would be lucky to draw her.

19112Charity leaves the garage with the Cain’s unit key in-hand and disappears into town. On her return to the garage, Debbie and Cain are still out and she sends Aaron home so she can replace the key back without anybody knowing. However, when Chas sneaks up on her, Charity puts it back in her pocket, claiming that she’s looking for an earring.

When Debbie returns, Chas senses the nervous tone in Charity’s voice and demands to know what she’s up to.

At the café, Chas grills Charity about what she was really doing in the garage and questions whether she’s serious about Cain. Chas is finally reassured by her response but Charity’s left quietly confused by her true feelings for Cain.

When Cain arrives home, he apologises to Charity for believing Carl. With that, Charity offers to lock up the garage that evening, seeing it as the perfect opportunity to replace the key.

19113However, before she leaves, she takes removes a copy of the key from her pocket, having completed phase one of her plan.

Meanwhile, Moira offers to help Marlon in the kitchen but the conversation turns personal as Marlon admits that he’s there for Moira day and night, whenever she needs him. Moira’s a little taken aback by his statement and Marlon realises that he may have said too much. From thereon in, he atmosphere remains a little awkward.

Returning to her family in the pub, an uneasy Moira admits to John that she thinks Marlon has a crush on her.

Elsewhere, Nicola ropes Scarlett into helping her search for a christening gown on the internet. While surfing, Nicola spots the perfect gown but then she notices the price tag and realises that Jimmy will never agree.

Milking her disappointment, Nicola hopes that Scarlett will get the hint and use her inheritance. Stepping up her game, Nicola announces to Jimmy that she wants Scarlett to be Angelica’s godmother, much to Scarlett’s surprise.

1911Debbie’s delighted when she discovers that Charity and Cain are back together, despite her scepticism over how well they’re getting on. In the pub, the Dingles are having lunch together and Debbie forces Cain and Charity to tell everyone that they’re back together again. Charity feels bad when she realises how much the reunion means to Debbie and feeling guilty for deceiving Cain, she begins to warm to the idea of being back where she belongs.

Carl, however, quickly ruins Cain’s good mood when he reveals that he and Charity were plotting to fleece him of his money.

Aware that Carl’s stirring, Charity later visits Cain at the garage. He confronts her about Carl’s accusations but she’s quick to deny everything and insists that she now has all she wants. Cain resumes his work and proves that he trusts Charity when he shows her where the petty cash is.

Once alone, though, temptation gets the better of Charity and as she reaches for the money, she notices something taped to the side of the drawer – the key for the storage unit containing Cain’s cash. Key in-hand, Charity ponders what she’s found and ignores the guilt she previously felt.

Meanwhile, as Nicola plans for the christening, Rodney insists that baby Angelica wear the traditional Blackstock family gown. Nicola and Scarlett lie that Jimmy’s decided on a new gown for the baby but Rodney’s sure that he can persuade him otherwise.

Later, when Rodney arrives with the christening gown, Jimmy claims that they can use his mother’s gown. As Rodney and Jimmy spar over which gown Angelica should wear, a fed up Nicola leaves Scarlett to fight her battles. Scarlett insists that the fairest compromise would be to allow Nicola to buy a new gown.

Elsewhere, Lisa’s enjoying being a model for Holly’s college work and is intrigued to learn that people are paid to do life modelling. Holly offers to put Lisa’s name down on the list at college, claiming Lisa has a knack for life modelling.
